Check this page daily! Week 11 (March 12-16) and Week 12 (March 19-20)

Assignments for the Week:

  • Monday and Tuesday, you will work on the Movie Review (your last assignment) while I grade your Term Papers.
  • Find the details of the Movie Review, a short direction for the essay, and the grading criteria on NC 18
  • Post the rough draft of the Review on Wednesday for group comments--however, discussion on this assignment is not mandatory and there will be no points on it.
  • Post the Final Draft of the Review on Thursday
  • Friday is the last day for any make-up work or missing assignment.  I am not going to accept any assignment after that day.
  • We will meet on Tuesday, march 20, in Room 1220--Old Main from 3:00-5:00 for final comments and reflections.

Readings for Week 9:

No more reading except for the directions for the Movie Review!!!   Believe it or not, we are done.

  • Final Draft of Movie Review  on NC 18, Thursday, March 15, by 6 p.m

Week 10 (March 5-9)
Assignments for the Week:
  • Monday, you will post your Document Test, by 6 p.m.
  • Keep working on your Term Paper as I look through it and give you some constructive criticism
  • Final Draft on your Term Paper should be posted on NC 17 by Thursday, March 8
  • Next, work on your last essay--the Movie Review.   But to write this essay, you need to watch a movie on your own.  The details of the Movie Review paper and criteria will be posted on NC 18 by Friday, March 9.

Readings for Week 10:
No new reading.  However, please check rules for correct documentation, how to quote and cite, from A Writer's Reference and / or Elements of Argument.
