Black Humor (Comedy)--the use of the morbid or absurd for darkly comic purposes.  Treats suffering anxiety, and death lightly to make a point.

 

Satire--humor/wit with a critical attitude toward human activities and institutions.  To highlight flaws in the hope of triggering improvement and reform.

 

Situational Irony--when the opposite of what is expected to happen happens.
