1. The Epic of Gilgamesh and the story of Adam and Eve in the Hebrew Bible both describe characters that begin in innocence: Enkidu in the Epic of Gilgamesh and Adam and Eve in Genesis. Would have Enkidu, Adam, and Eve been better off if left in their innocence or did they somehow benefit more from acquiring knowledge?

2. Why did the Hebrew God choose circumcision as the mark of His covenant with Abraham and the Hebrews?

3. What is the purpose of the story of Job? In other words, why would have early Hebrew writers included it?
