be with, and what your goals might be. Ü Consider the predictions Johnson

Which of his predictions do you believe will have the greatest effect

Consider the likely mixtures of peoples, languages, cultures,
political views, levels of education, and economic status. Ü What might be the newest

facts listed on pp. 75-76 surprised you the most? Ü What do you
think will be the world’s perception of the United States in five to ten
years? Ü Considering
your present understanding of Islam, what do you imagine daily life is like
in an Islamic state? Consider, for
example, the life of a citizen who lives in Saudi Arabia or Iran. How do you imagine his or her life
different from a typical American’s? Ü If we are, in
fact, all members of Global Village, what steps can the United States take to
somehow bridge the gap between the Islamic world and the West? |
