To use the ProQuest periodical database, follow these steps:

1. After you get to our library's link, click on ProQuest, directly under the heading "Search Articles and Databases."

2. If you are off campus, enter your Student Identification Number (SID) as your Library Card Number and click "continue."

3. Click on the green "Publications" tab at the top of the screen.

4. Click the letter 'T.'

5. Next, scroll down and click on "Time; New York."

6. In the "search strip" enter the words "illegal immigrants" and click "search."

7. If all has gone well, you should be looking at blue-font article titles from most recent to least recent, with the April 10, 2006 Time articles at the top.

Under each blue article title is an icon and the words "Full text."  Click on "Full text" to read the article.
