Rick Street
SCC Accounting & Entrepreneurship Instructor
Rick Street earned his B.A. from Eastern Washington University and his M.Acc. (Master of Accountancy) from Gonzaga University.
He also holds CPA (Certified Public Accountant) and CIA (Certified Internal Auditor) certifications.
He teaches principles of accounting, payroll procedures, business tax accounting, accounting integration, and accounting
applications and analysis. Mr. Street was instrumental in starting the Avista
Center for Entrepreneurship (CFE) at SCC in 2007. The CFE offers a new and innovative approach to help people marry their
technical talents with entrepreneurial skills. He is one of five instructors who co-instruct the entrepreneurship program. He
served as a member and chair of the exceptional faculty committee for CCS. Mr. Street is a practicing CPA specializing in public
companies and in companies about to go public.
