                            PLAGIARISM and the RESOURCES TO AVOID IT      

Plagiarism is the intentional or unintentional representation of someone else's words and ideas as your own.  It is academic theft and is dealt with harshly (failure of the course, expulsion from the school) at most colleges and universities.  The good news is that it can be avoided with proper understanding and practice.

This tutorial may take awhile, but it will give you a solid understanding of what plagiarism is and how to avoid it.  This knowledge you'll want to take with you through your education years and beyond, so the tutorial is very much work your attention.
